The YouTube platform launched the new “Shorts” application to create short videos for a period of up to 15 seconds, which compete with TikTok and Instagram Reels, provided that it is available in the Indian market at the beginning.
Video sharing apps are very popular with users all over the world, and today the YouTube platform is in competition to attract the user segment for the new YouTube Shorts app.
The new YouTube Shorts application comes with the aim of supporting users in three main features, as it supports creating short videos for up to 15 seconds, exploring new videos that are shared in the application, and also continuing to watch videos.
The YouTube platform provides, in the feature of creating the video clip, a set of tools to support the user, which includes a multi-part camera, with an option to record music, control the speed of the video, as well as a timing feature and countdown that will support the user in creating video content without the need to use hands.
The demo version of the YouTube Shorts app is scheduled to be available in the Indian market at the beginning, with a limited number of tools, provided that it is available on the Android platform at the beginning and is also available later for users on the iOS platform.
