Xiaomi announces the Redmi K40 Pro phones

Revealed a company Xiaomi unveiled the new Redmi K40 and Pro + phones, which share an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz.

Redmi K40 Pro:

The phone comes with an AMOLED screen measuring 6.67 inches and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz with a typical brightness of 900 nits and a peak of 1,300 nits.

The screen is covered with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 with a contrast ratio of 5,000,000: 1 and supports HDR10 + and MEMC.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor, which includes the fast Cortex-X1 CPU core, and the Adreno 660 GPU is 35 percent faster than that found in the Snapdragon 865.

There is 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, along with 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The device includes a 4520 mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast wired charging, with a side fingerprint sensor.

There is a 108-megapixel main camera with a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensoe sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 119-degree angle and a 5-megapixel macro camera, in addition to a 20-megapixel front camera.

The camera can record 8K video at 30 frames per second and 4K video at 30 and 60 frames per second, and slow motion clips at up to 960 fps at 1080p.

The phone lacks support for the mmWave 5G standard, but it supports the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which allows wireless networks to reach speeds of up to 3.5 gigabits per second, and it supports the Bluetooth 5.2 standard.

Other features include a USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos certification, and Hi-Res Audio certification with MIUI 12 based on Android 11, but there is no 3.5mm headphone port.

The phone is sold at $ 575.
