announced platform Twitter has officially released Twitter Blue, a paid subscription service that provides access to new features such as undo tweets and view threads in an easier to understand Reader Mode.

Starting today, it’s rolling out first in Canada and Australia, with a subscription costing C$3.49 or A$4.49 per month, respectively.

The new Undo Send feature gives you the option to withdraw your Tweets before they are actually posted. And you can set a timer to undo your tweets that can last up to 30 seconds.

The Bookmark Folders feature allows you to group saved Tweets to make them easier to find later.

In addition, Reader Mode lets you keep up with topics by converting them into easy-to-read text and merging tweets together on a single page.

Twitter Blue subscribers also get access to support dedicated to subscription customers.

The expedited time frame applies to any type of support card you may submit, which means you get faster support for account-related issues as well as if you’re reporting someone for harassment.

Abuse and harassment remain an issue for Twitter. The prioritization of paid support may lead to some controversy.

Twitter says it’s launching Twitter Blue first in Australia and Canada to gain a deeper understanding of what makes your experience across the platform more personalized and expressive.

Introducing a paid subscription service is an important change in Twitter’s business model that the company has been contemplating for some time.

Previously, the company relied mainly on advertising for its revenue. But intense competition and pressure from investors prompted it to explore new sources of revenue.

In early May, Twitter began testing Tip Jar, which allows users to send one-time payments to favorite accounts.

In addition, the Super Follows feature, announced in February, allows users to charge subscriptions for things like: additional tweets, community groups or newsletters.
