TP-Link’s first Wi-Fi 6E routers are coming this year

Announced a company TP-Link is about its first routers to support the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which is a massive new wireless upgrade that quadruples available airwaves for faster speeds and more reliable connections.

The top four routers announced by TP-Link include two mesh network routers and two high-end single unit routers, including one that supports 10Gbps speeds.

And routers supporting the Wi-Fi 6E standard add a third band to the wireless network, so in addition to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, there will now be the 6GHz band.

This network will also be significantly larger, which means less congestion and more potential for faster speeds.

TP-Link plans to offer two mesh routers with support for Wi-Fi 6E this year The Deco X96 and Deco X76 Plus are both a tri-band vector, and they use the new 6GHz band.

This should result in a more stable and faster connection than conventional three-band interfering networks.

There is one downside, when you buy phones, laptops, and other devices that support 6GHz wireless network connections, these systems connect to them over the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands only, because the 6GHz network is used by the routers themselves.

The Deco X96 promises speeds up to 7,800Mbps, while the Deco X76 Plus promises speeds up to 5400Mbps, and also includes a built-in Zigbee radio to support smart home gadgets.

And if you want to communicate directly with devices that operate over the 6GHz wireless network, that’s the point for the following two TP-Link routers.

Both Archer AX96 and Archer AX206 are considered a 3-band router, but given that they are not systems for mesh networking, the 6GHz range is available for connecting to individual devices.

The Archer AX96 promises speeds of up to 7800Mbps, while the Archer AX206 promises speeds of up to 10Gbps, if your internet connection is fast to support it.

Prices for the four routers have yet to be announced, and the first units are expected to start shipping in the third quarter of the year.

TP-Link has also announced some Other products Today, including Deco Voice X20, which is an interconnected Wi-Fi 6 router that also works as Smart speaker that supports Alexa, and will be launched in the coming months.

There is also the Deco X80-5G, a gateway to use 5G as a home internet that also functions as a router for Wi-Fi 6.

TP-Link also announced a number of new smart home gadgets under its Kasa brand, including the smart doorbell.
