Submitted a company Toshiba has new options to choose from if you’re looking to buy a new Fire TV, as the Japanese company has launched a lineup of Smart Fire TVs with an integrated Fire TV experience.
The new TVs are available in five sizes on the Toshiba C350 Series.
She floated Amazon And Best Buy 43-inch and 50-inch models for $ 350 and $ 470, respectively, although they won’t be available until May 13 at the earliest.
Although the company does not have a release date yet, Toshiba also sells 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models of televisions in the future.
The new Smart Fire TVs have thinner bezels than previous Toshiba models, with 4 HDMI ports, 4 HDMI HDCP 2.2 inputs, and two USB ports (both are USB 2.0).
The devices also have UHD 4K resolution supported by Toshiba Regza Engine 4K, and support Dolby Vision, HDR10 and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
There is one digital optical audio output port and one composite video input, devices contain support for RF antenna input, built-in wireless network and Ethernet port, and there is one headphone port and Bluetooth.
And given that the devices are powered by Fire OS from Amazon, it has the features you’d expect from a Fire TV, including the ability to display video from compatible video doorbells or other cameras via what you’re watching on screen.
You can also use voice commands to quickly change the sound and picture settings, for example, you can say: Aleska set picture mode to movie, or Alexa set the bass volume to level 3.
The audio remote control that comes with the TVs also gives you the ability to control the operation of the compatible A / V receivers and headphones.
The devices are supposed to ship with the older Fire TV interface, but it gets a redesigned UI this summer when it rolls out over the older models.
The updated user interface takes a new look and introduces user accounts, so that up to six family members can customize their experience.
