Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 1000 chip may support better performance than Snapdragon 875

The latest reports confirmed that the upcoming Samsung Exynos 1000 processor chip will perform better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip that launches next year.

Qualcomm has been able over the past years to compete strongly with Samsung with the strong performance of its Snapdragon 8 processors, but the latest reports recently published confirm that the Exynos 1000 processor comes next year with better performance than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor.

The new details came via a source from Geekbench, who indicated that Samsung has already begun testing the performance of the Galaxy S21, which includes the Exynos 1000 processor, along with the model that includes the Snapdragon 875, and the phone has also been compared to the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 with a Snapdragon 875 processor chip.

The source of the leaks confirmed that the Exynos 1000 processor provided better performance in the single cores compared to the Snapdragon 875 model, and the Xiaomi phone, which scored 1302 points in the single-core tests, compared to 1159 points for the Snapdragon 875 processor, and the Exynos 1000 processor also scored 4250 points in the multiple cores tests against 4090 points in multiple core tests for Snapdragon 875 processor.

Also, Xiaomi phone scored 1102 points in the single cores, and 4113 points in the multiple cores tests, and the source of the leaks indicated that the reason for this performance is due to the recently announced ARM cores Cortex-X1, as Samsung was able to push the best performance and speed with the new cores in a processor Exynos 1000.

Recall that the expectations indicate that the final tests of the processors will reveal higher performance and points, but it is the first time that Samsung has succeeded in outperforming the Exynos processor over the Snapdragon processors in performance tests.
