Announced a company Samsung announced a new partnership with a company Manna drone delivery, a move that sees drone delivery available to customers in Ireland when purchasing the latest range of Galaxy devices, including the S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy A Series.
The new service, which is the first of its kind for Samsung globally, facilitates a comprehensive contactless experience for the company’s customers from their initial online order through the online store in Ireland, through to implementation.
The service is provided first to customers residing in Oranmore, with Samsung and Manna keen to expand this service nationwide in the future.
Manna uses specially designed drones to deliver products directly to customers’ homes.
The drones fly at an altitude of between 50 and 80 meters and at speeds of more than 60 kilometers per hour, enabling them to be delivered to homes in Oranmore within 3 minutes.
Commenting on the news, Samsung said: We are always looking for ways to deliver meaningful innovations to our customers, so we are really excited to be the first technology company in Ireland to make their products available to their customers via drones.
She added: It considers the possibility of delivering products to customers Within three minutes leaving the dispatch center is a great example of innovation in motion, and a superior customer experience is at the core of what we do.
With this new service, Samsung is embracing what it believes will be the future of retail.

The drone delivery option will be available to Oranmore-based customers who purchase the Galaxy device through the company’s website starting today.
