The ROG Flow X13 is a convertible two-in-one 13-inch gaming laptop.
And the ROG Flow X13 doesn’t look like a regular gaming rig, as portability is a feature here, and Asus says: You get up to 10 hours of video playback on a single charge and the 100-watt USB-C charger saves 50 percent in 30. Accurate.
You can choose between a 1080p touch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz or a touchscreen display with a resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels, and either way, you get the aspect ratio of 16:10 with additional vertical space for multitasking.
And given that the case is convertible, you can rotate the 13-inch screen to either tablet or tent mode, giving you a variety of ways to enjoy playing along with better cooling.
The computer includes an AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS processor, one of the flagship processors in the new Ryzen 5000 series, with a GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.
Asus provides the computer with an external graphics processing unit named ROG XG Mobile, which can include the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.
Asus says: It’s bringing gaming performance via desktop to its laptop, and an external GPU called ROG XG Mobile acts as a power adapter as well.
Asus developed its own PCIe 3 connector for the ROG XG Mobile external GPU, which can deliver 63Gbps graphics bandwidth, well above the 40Gbps limit in Thunderbolt 4.
The ROG Flow X13 and XG Mobile bundle is priced at $ 3,000, and you can order ROG Flow X13 and ROG XG Mobile now initially from the company’s store.
