Navigation platform acquired (WizWaze has a new user interface and design that is the largest ever, in addition to expanding the moods feature.
It is reported that the platform (Waze) is owned by a company Google However, since its acquisition in June 2013, it is still a separate and intertwined product with Google Maps.
The new interface is more colorful, and it also provides drivers with the ability to share their current emotions with the Moods feature, a set of symbols that the user can choose from, and it now contains an initial set of 30 moods that can reflect the driver’s feeling while driving his vehicle.
And in Post Describing the feature, Jake Shaw – Waze’s creative head – talks about the set of added moods, which build on the Moods feature previously available in Wiz, and that dramatically expand the range of expressive emotions.
“The basic idea of Moods has always been the same: to reflect what users feel on the road,” added Shaw. “We had a lot of fun exploring the range of emotions that people feel there. The feelings of dozens of drivers facing the same situation can be different,” he added.
Expanding Moods to be more diverse and personal is believed to be more visually appealing, and this can help boost its engagement among the Waze user community.
This update also includes a full update of all application interfaces, using color schemes based on the network system, and includes new icons for reported road hazards. These changes will also help distinguish between the visual (Waze) identity and the identity of the Google Maps service.
