The company claims that this is the first phone with a new Qualcomm processor called Snapdragon 870, which is manufactured according to 7 nm technology, and has eight cores with one Cortex-A78 core operating at a frequency of 3.2 GHz.
The Motorola Edge S brings 5G connectivity through the separate Snapdragon X55 modem.

On the back there are four sensors in total, including a 64MP main camera with aperture F / 1.7 lens, support for 6K video capture at 30fps, ultra-wide 16MP camera with phase detection autofocus, 2MP fixed focal depth sensor and ToF sensor.
The phone works with a 5000 mAh battery with 20-watt charging support with a 20-watt charger included in the box, but there is no fast wired or wireless charging.
The phone is splash-proof according to the IP52 standard, has a 3.5mm headphone port, and comes with a charger, a pre-installed screen protector, a cable, and a case.
Motorola Edge S runs Android 11, which is the first Motorola phone to support the company’s new desktop mode, and Motorola sells a platform you can use to connect your phone to an external screen, such as a TV.
Motorola Edge S is previously ordered in China, and it starts shipping on February 3, and the phone comes in Emerald Light.
The price of the device is 1999 Chinese yuan (250 euros) for the 6/128 GB model, 2399 Chinese yuan (305 euros) for the 8/128 GB version and 2799 Chinese yuan (350 euros) for the 8/256 GB version.
