IPhone camera gets a big upgrade in 2021
You should get an iPhone camera from a company Apple is getting a big upgrade in 2021, according to trusted analyst (Ming-Chi Kuo) of TF International Securities.
And ko issued note New research details his forecasts for next year’s iPhone lineup – tentatively called the iPhone 13 – including some positive expectations for shipping based on a number of factors.
According to Kuo, the iPhone 13 lineup comes in the same four model sizes as this year’s iPhone 12, but with some major improvements to iPhone camera technology.
Kuo says: The ultra-wide cameras on the two high-end models will be significantly upgraded to a 6P lens with an f / 1.8 lens. With autofocus.
All current iPhone 12 models are equipped with ultra-wide cameras with an f / 2.4 aperture and a five-element (5P) lens with fixed focus.
Looking to the future, Kuo says he also expects all new 2022 iPhones (tentatively called the iPhone 14 series) to be equipped with the same enhanced Ultra Wide Camera with an f / 1.8 lens with autofocus.
Koo states that Largan Precision will likely become the leading supplier of VCM audio coil drivers for enhanced ultra-wide cameras.
Largan Precision is expected to receive about 70 percent of VCM orders for the iPhone 13 series with the advantages of vertical integration to produce lenses and VCM audio coil drivers, versus 50 percent of the ultra-wide angle lenses on the iPhone 12 series.
Kuo believes that iPhone 13 shipments will increase year on year, as he provided a positive outlook for the supply chain due to several factors, including:
- The most robust 5G infrastructure in the second half of 2021.
- Return to the traditional September time frame for producing and selling iPhones.
- Important improvements to the iPhone 13.
Display analyst Ross Young claimed that 2021 iPhones will come in the same sizes as the iPhone 12 models, and will feature 120Hz ProMotion displays, enhanced camera sensors, and sub-6GHz fifth generation connectivity.
