announced a company Huawei announced its first smart watches running on the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system, which are Huawei Watch 3 and Huawei Watch 3 Pro.

This is in theory the third separate operating system Huawei has used for its smartwatches, which originally used Google’s Android Wear (now Wear OS) before introducing its LiteOS software with the latest hardware.

Despite the new operating system, Huawei Watch 3 offers a similar set of features to previous Huawei wearable devices.

New additions include a redesigned home screen that now consists of a watchOS-style network of apps instead of a menu. There is also support for video calls through the Chinese company’s MeeTime service.

Huawei Watch 3 long battery life بطارية indicates that its operating system is significantly different from the version HarmonyOS, which Huawei uses on its new tablets.

And the design of the Huawei Watch 3 is not much different from the company’s previous smartwatches.

The new watch has a 1.43-inch circular OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The screen extends from edge to edge, so there is no rotating bezel for this smartwatch. Alternatively, you can control it via a rotating crown, similar to an Apple Watch.

The watch is available in two different models, including the sporty model with a rubber strap, the classic model with leather, in addition to the elite model with a metal bracelet.

To track activity, the watch features as many sensors as previous models, including heart rate tracking, the Sp02 sensor, and sleep tracking.

But what’s new in this version is a temperature sensor, similar to last year’s Fitbit Sense smartwatch.

Huawei says: This sensor can continuously track the temperature of your skin throughout the day.

Features of the new Huawei watch:

The watch supports hundreds of different exercise modes, from running to climbing, cycling and swimming.

And eSIM support is back, which means the Huawei Watch 3 can also be operated independently of the phone.

The watch supports direct voice calls, and there is also support for video calls via the MeeTime service.

However, there is no confirmation on whether the watch will work with other video calling services, such as WhatsApp.

And with 4G turned on, Huawei says you should get roughly three days of battery life. But this extends to 14 days when 4G is turned off and the phone is used in Ultra Long Lasting mode.

Even in this low-power mode, Huawei says you should still be able to track your activity and workouts, and the watch faces remain animated.

In addition to the Huawei Watch 3, Huawei also announced the Huawei Watch 3 Pro, which offers up to 5 days of battery life with 4G turned on, and up to 21 days in long battery life mode.

Other improvements include a more premium titanium body and more accurate GPS tracking.

Support for third-party apps remains a big question mark for Huawei’s first Harmony system watches.

As always, Huawei promises that it is working with developers to bring apps to its devices.

The company displayed a range of application logos, including one for Emirates Airlines.

Huawei has not yet confirmed the pricing or version details of the Huawei Watch 3 and Huawei Watch 3 Pro. But she said it should be announced soon.
