The company is working with major music companies and service providers to start streaming video content with 360 Reality Audio later this year.
Listeners currently have access to nearly 4,000 360 songs from artists such as Alicia Keys, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, Noah Cyrus and Zara Larsson, and Sony is adding new capabilities to this innovative music format.
The company announced its intention to launch two new speakers compatible with 360-degree technology, a spatial sound technology that brings the feeling of live music by placing different sounds in a virtual field around you.
The SRS-RA5000 includes three top woofers, three side woofers, and a subwoofer, which is certified for high-fidelity audio, while the SRS-RA3000 includes two high-end woofers, two passive subwoofers without magnets, and a full speaker drive unit the range.
