Live View in Maps is one of the most impressive Google Maps technologies, and it comes with a real-world sharing feature via an AR overlay in the map service, and its usefulness increases when a person is in an unfamiliar place and has an unreliable compass, now and starting with Pixel phones running the Android version 11, This feature becomes more useful, that when someone shares their location with you, you will be able to navigate to it via Live View.

Once your friends share their location with you on the maps, you can click on their personal identification number, and you should see the Live View option in the circular button on the right side “according to the language” of your screen.

Finally, and as we indicated, this support is currently available for pixel devices only, however, we will soon find it available on all Android devices, and since this support is on the server side, downloading the latest version of Google Maps will not guarantee you getting it.
