Fujifilm X-E4 features a new design

Announced a company Fujifilm about the X-E4, which it describes as the smallest interchangeable lens camera integrated into its X-series, at 121.3 x 72.9 x 32.7mm, is more than one centimeter thinner than its predecessor, the X-E3 from 2017.

Fujifilm’s XE Series is an option for photographers who prefer a range-style design over DSLR-like cameras such as the X-T4, but do not need the X-Pro3’s optical viewfinder.

And like the X100V, there is a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans sensor, special dials for shutter speed and exposure compensation, and a tilting 3-inch LCD touchscreen that snaps onto the body.

You can change the screen position by 180 degrees so that you can easily frame yourself if you’re shooting a vlog or selfie, and it has a higher resolution of 1.62 million dots compared to 1.04 million dots via the X-E3.

The shutter dial now also has a P setting for fully automatic program mode, and the handle on the front of the X-E3 has been removed completely.

The X-Trans sensor enables shooting at 30 frames per second without blackout when using the electronic shutter, and 8 fps with the mechanical shutter.

With nearly 100 percent coverage of the phase-detection AF system, Fujifilm says the X-E4 can gain focus in 0.2 seconds – even when there is limited light.

It also comes with the company’s latest automatic face and eye detection features, as well as 18 simulation modes, compared to 15 in the previous model.

The X-E4 can shoot 4K videos at 30 frames per second internally, and for slow motion, it can record 1080p at 240 frames per second.

And you have mini HDMI and USB-C ports, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, so there’s no need for a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter if you want to capture sound with an external microphone.

The X-E4 should be released in March for $ 850 a body in black and silver only.

There is also a $ 1050 kit that includes a new version of the Fujifilm XF lens with a 27mm f / 2.8 aperture, and unlike its predecessor, this new version of the lens is weatherproof and is available separately in March for $ 400.
