Facebook revealed during the event that launched today its new release of the Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality glasses, which launched at $ 299, which supports work independently and connects to computers as well, as this version is expected to attract users more.
As Facebook prepares to launch the Oculus Quest 2 to the market, the company also plans to end its previous line of virtual reality glasses, Oculus Rift S, with Oculus Quest 2 sunglasses at the main show at Facebook.
Facebook introduced the Rift S virtual reality glasses to the market at a price of $ 399, but it did not provide the same performance as the original Quest glasses at the same pricing level.
With the Oculus Rift S retreating in the market after the launch of Oculus Link for the Quest, Facebook decided to make a clear decision to end the Oculus Rift S product line to focus on its new Oculus Quest 2 product line over the coming period.
