Asus announces dual-screen hardware ZenBook

Announced a company Asus announces two new ZenBook Duo series dual-screen 15-inch and 14-inch mobile devices as part of its CES 2021 announcements list.

There’s also a new VivoBook and a new ExpertBook for people looking for light and portable purchases.

ZenBook Duo laptops have a primary screen as well as a secondary screen called ScreenPad Plus built into the upper half of the keyboard.

The 15.6-inch ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED is an update to the dual-screen ZenBook Pro Duo 15, a 15.6-inch dual-screen laptop with a primary OLED display.

There is also a 14-inch model, which is a complement to the regular ZenBook Duo introduced last year.

The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED gets the 10th generation Intel processors (up to Core i9) and the latest mobile GPU GeForce RTX 3070 from Nvidia.

The ZenBook Duo 14 includes 11th generation Intel processors (Core i7 or Core i5) with integrated Iris Xe graphics, and you can also add the Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU.

Both have a new design that makes the ScreenPad Plus secondary screen tilted upward rather than flat on the surface of the keyboard.

This means you don’t need to lift your neck over the keyboard to read the secondary screen, which was inconvenient for the older Duo models.

There is also a new hinge design that Asus says is 30 percent smaller with a smaller fan size.

Asus has also upgraded ScreenPad – now called Screen Xpert 2 – to include new apps that make multitasking easier.

And with the new Window Flick feature, you can easily move windows from one view to another.

There is also the new VivoBook S14, and Asus says it is the lightest 14-inch VivoBook ever manufactured, weighing only 1.3 kg.

The VivoBook S14 has also been upgraded with 11th-generation processors with integrated Xe graphics, and Asus says you get up to 17 hours of battery life.

There is also the regular VivoBook 14, which is powered by AMD’s new U-Series processors, Ryzen 5000.

Asus has made some updates to its ExpertBook lineup, including ExpertBook B9, with the full name of the new model becoming ExpertBook B9 B9450CEA.

Asus says: It is the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop at 0.8kg, and includes the latest 11th generation Intel vPro processors, which provide a number of security and remote management features, including Intel Active Management Technology.

The ExpertBook includes a number of new features designed to make conference calling easier, including bi-directional noise cancellation technology supported by artificial intelligence, Harman Kardon certified speakers, and Wi-Fi 6 support.
