Acer enters the field of flash storage and memory

Announced a company Acer in Post It gets into flash storage and memory business with the help of a Chinese manufacturer called Biwin.

The products leverage Biwin’s manufacturing capabilities and Acer’s global brand recognition to provide cutting-edge memory and storage solutions for professional and home users.

The flash drive is branded with the Acer brand, but another company will be responsible for building it.

Although you see the Acer logo on the hard drive, Biwin is the one that handles the warranty for these products.

And Acer is not the only major company to use Biwin devices.

The flash drive and memory manufacturer also introduces HP branded products, including USB flash drives, NVMe, 2.5-inch SATA and RAM.

The new partnership aims to launch products under the Acer brand first in the United States, China, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Acer’s new SSD range offers a range of 2.5-inch SATA, M.2 SATA and M.2 PCIe NVMe drives.

Acer and Biwin start working with a 2.5-inch SATA SSD called the SA100 with a version up to 1.92 terabytes, with a speed of 560 megabytes per second.

The RE100 comes in a 2.5-inch or M.2 SATA SSD, and either one has configurations of up to 4TB, with read and write speeds of 560MB / s and 520MB / s, respectively.

The M.2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD, named FA100, comes in capacities of up to 2TB, with read and write speeds of 3300Mbps and 2700Mbps, respectively.

The partnership also produces a variety of RAM for laptops and desktops, ranging in capacities from 4GB to 32GB per unit, with speeds up to 3600MHz.

All of these RAM products are labeled “soon arriving” via the Acer storage site.
