Razer is best known for making gaming devices, especially headphones. And recently, the company launched the BlackShark V2 headset, which has a simple, lightweight appearance without any lights.
Here’s a look at Razer BlackShark V2:
the design
The speaker comes in a very simple form, no odd boomer design or colorful LED lights. Even the Razer logo looks a bit small compared to other headphones.
The BlackShark V2 is crafted in metal with a headband covered in a soft foam cushioning wrapped in mesh fabric. The mesh structure hinges don’t feel very sturdy, and the earpads are made of foam foam covered with layers of leather and mesh fabric, so they’re very soft.
The volume control and mic mute buttons come on the left side of the speaker.
Sound and performance
With extremely precise sound, BlackShark V2 has the usual acoustic hallmarks, such as excessive bass and slight focus in the 3-6kHz range. However, unlike many gaming headsets, the effect is very slight here.
The extra emphasis on bass and highs is great for instrumental music based on guitar and drums, as well as high-pitched sounds like strings and high-bits.
It has also been designed with a very good response frequency and is suitable for all games.
However, the Razer BlackShark V2 cannot match great sound output, as like most gaming headphone mics, there is a sharp drop in focus on bass and midrange here, plus a slight over focus in the high range. This means that the zero sounds (F, S, and SH sounds) will appear sharper, but deeper sounds will appear slightly muddled.
the battery
The speaker battery lasts up to 20 hours.
price
BlackShark V2 is available at $ 99.99.
